Costco Free Samples Returning Soon
Costco suspended its popular free sample to customers to help prevent the spread of the virus. They have implemented other safety policies since then. You can read more about those policies here. Costco held a quarterly earnings call last week and according to the USA Today, officials announced that free samples should return in mid-June!
All of the details were not release and exactly how they will do this was not announced. It does seem they will slowly roll out the free samples at various stores. “We’re going to start doing some things in mid-June on a slow rollout basis in sampling,” Costco chief financial officer Richard Galanti said. “I can’t tell you anymore, but needless to say it’s not going to be where you go and just pick up an open sample with your fingers (USA Today Article)”
