Oh no! Something got spilled on the carpet and you don’t have any carpet cleaner in the house. How many times has this happened to you? Well now you can just grab a couple of ingredients out of your pantry and make some yourself!
This recipe should not only stop you from the extra trip to the store, but should also save you some money! The little bit of the ingredients needed should only cost a fraction of what store bought carpet spot cleaner would cost you.
Here is a recipe for DIY Carpet Spot Cleaner:
What you Need:
4 cups warm water
1/2 cup vinegar
2-3 Tablespoons baking soda
What you Do:
Just mix above ingredients together and let is fizz a little.
Dip a scrub brush into the mixture and gently run the spot in the carpet until gone.
Once it dries just vacuum up the residue left behind.
It is best to test a small area of your carpet before putting anything on it to make sure it doesn’t cause it to change color.
Never run out to the store again because something got spilled on the carpet. Accidents happen, but they shouldn’t have to cost you a ton to fix them!
