With only 3 ingredients, this DIY Homemade Shampoo Recipe with Coconut Milk is an amazing wake-me-up addition to any morning routine!
Mornings can be tough. Not only do I need to get myself out of bed but I need to get my kids moving as well! It’s often a struggle. While coffee helps, I’m really loving my invigorating shampoo in the shower. With only 3 ingredients, you’ll be surprised how well this product cleans your hair. And the scent is perfect to wake me up in the morning. Peppermint is so refreshing and helpful with headaches and sinuses.
I loved it so much, two pumps, a lather in my hand and then I rubbed it on my legs and used it as a shaving cream! Worked like a charm and left my legs smooth. It felt nice on my skin. Smooth. Not greasy, not full of residue. And after my shower, my legs looked shiny and silky, which lets me know the combination of the soap, oil and coconut milk is certainly keeping my skin hydrated.
You can use this shampoo on children, but always do a patch test and please make sure they are responsible enough to wash their own hair. You could also substitute Lavender Essential Oil for the Peppermint Oil. Peppermint has a very cooling effect so if you happen to get it on sensitive skin, such as around the eyes, it won’t hurt you, but it may feel a bit unpleasant because of the cooling effects.
