Easy Easter Bunny Cupcakes
We love cupcakes in our home. No matter if served with a homemade frosting or can, I am always down for the light and fluffy cake paired to sweet frosting and decorated with sugary ingredients. These bunny cupcakes are incredibly easy to make. The ears look intimidating but trust me they are rather easy to do. Just kitchen scissors are all you need.
Best Way to Store Easter Bunny Cupcakes
I place them in a cake pan that has a lid or place them back in the muffin tin with a lid. This will keep them nice and moist for a few days. Then store on the counter or even the fridge. They will last 3-5 days when covered, and then begin to dry out.
Can You Freeze Easter Bunny Cupcakes
Yes! Feel free to freeze frosted cupcakes in the freezer, and leave off all the decorations. Or if you do place on the eyes, nose, and ears, know they can bleed color a little bit as they thaw.
Place in an airtight container and freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature for serving. You only need a few hours to thaw out the cupcakes. I think they taste even better slightly chilled.
