Can You Swap Ground Turkey in Replace of Beef in Taco Recipe
Yes, you can use ground turkey or even a ground chicken in replace. It is all about what you prefer fits your tastebuds best. Granted turkey and chicken offer a milder flavor but both pair well with taco seasoning.
Do I Have To Use Refried Beans in Oven Baked Tacos
No, you sure don’t. If you are not a fan of refried beans, feel free to leave them off. Or you can swap with black beans that are rinsed and drained from the can.
Do Baked Tacos Store Well
Not really. You will find the shells begin to get soft after they sit in the refrigerator. I suggest making only what you plan to eat. Then if you have extra meat you can store the meat in an airtight container and then assemble more tacos later, bake and repeat.
