What Do You Need To Make Fake Snow
How to Make Fake Snow
Add both ingredients into the bowl, mix, and get a perfect consistency. You will find that depending on your conditioner you might need to add more baking soda or more conditioner.
- So if it is too wet, add more baking soda.
- If too dry, add more conditioner. You want it to be able to hold shape but also crumble a bit.
Is There A Special Conditioner To Buy For Making Fake Snow
To be honest, reach for a cheap bottle. It will not matter if you use a $1 bottle or a higher end. I recommend not wasting your good conditioner so grab some that are on sale or really affordable.
If you don’t want to buy a full-size bottle stores like Dollar Tree, Walmart, and more have smaller bottles available if you want to make a smaller batch of fake snow.
How Long Does Fake Snow Last
You can store your fake snow in a container for 7-10 days. You will find the longer it sits the texture can alter a bit. But it will last for around a week before you should consider tossing it out.
You can store in plastic or a glass jar like we did here. If you leave it uncovered, just make sure to spread it out thinly so it doesn’t fully clump together.
