It’s great for the warmer autumn days here in the South and the cooler ones as we get into November. How to Make Fall Fruit Salad
I love a recipe like this because the flavors are complex and it looks beautiful, but it’s SO easy to make with just a handful of common ingredients!
Ingredients for Fall Fruit Salad
- Oranges
- Maple syrup
- Ground cinnamon
- Blackberries
- Pears
- Red seedless grapes
- Chopped pecans
- Sweet apples
Instructions for Fall Fruit Salad
In a large serving bowl, add the juice from one orange and orange zest. Next, add cinnamon and maple syrup. Stir with a whisk to completely combine.
Then, add grapes, blackberries, and pecans. Cube the pears and the apples into bite size pieces and add to the bowl last. Immediately toss fruit to coat in the citrus-based dressing. This will keep the fruit from turning brown.
Serve immediately or store covered in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
