First Day of School Classmate Gift

All you need to do is download the digital PDF file, print on paper or cardstock, cut out the tags, and punch the holes. Have your child write their name BEFORE tying; it’s much easier for them to do! After that, push a thin ribbon, yarn, or twine through the hole and tie on the crayons. I suggest using cardstock, so the paper doesn’t rip through while you’re tying the tag on.

There are a couple of different options of how to gift the crayons: You can either go to the dollar store and purchase one small box for each child OR you can purchase several larger boxes and tie three or five crayons together for each child.

I’ve shown what both options look like for you. So, you can choose whatever works best for you, depending on how many children are in the class and what you budget ahead of time to spend on a project like this.

3. Then punch a hole in the corner, or opt for washi tape.
