This program is for kids in grades 1-6. It is so simple and we have done it EVERY YEAR with our kids! It’s one of our favorites.

Knowing they’ll get a FREE book helps motivate them to keep reading during the summer months! This is one program we look forward to! And, it’s super simple. We have all the steps for you below.
Here’s how to get your free book from Barnes and Noble:
1.) Print this Summer Reading Journal and have your kids read any 8 books they want!
2.) Read Any 8 books you want and write them down on the Journal
3.) Kids can take the completed Summer Reading Journal to any Barnes and Noble Bookstore now through 8/31/22 to get your FREE book!
That’s it, no purchase required and there aren’t any hoops to jump through! It’s super easy, and kids have so much fun with it!
The free books are based on the kids age range. There is a complete list of the books you can choose from on the front page of the summer reading journal.
