Homemade Baby Shower Decorations
Decorate the Food Table
The table that holds the food always seems to be the gathering spot of any party. This is also an easy and affordable way to really personalize the baby shower. You can really get creative in this area and make the shower unique.
:: Have food as decorations! Every baby shower has food so why not use the food as a decoration as well! Set out strawberries that have been dipped in colored chocolate to match the gender of the baby. You can use white chocolate and add in food coloring or by colored chocolate at a local craft store.
:: Set out mason jars that have colored candies in them. You can get really creative with the mason jars and add fabric under the lid or put labels on the outside of the jar.
:: Have drinks set out that match the color gender of the baby. A quick search on Pinterest will give you plenty of options for unique drinks.
Use Pictures Frames
You can find pictures frames at the Dollar Store or even Wal-Mart that are very affordable. Decorate these frames with glitter, paint or washi tape. Put baby pictures of the mom and dad in the frames and you have instant decorations that are extremely affordable. This is also a great way to get people out of their chairs and socializing with other people.
Decorate the Chairs
Make cute banners to put on the back of people’s chairs. You can create a banner for all of the important family member. You might have one that says mommy-to-be, Grandma, Auntie, big sister, little brother or whatever it may be. Creating your own banners is very easy and will give the shower a personalized touch.
Make a Candy Table
Candy tables are all the rage right now! More and more weddings are adding candy tables to their receptions, so why not have one at the baby shower. What pregnant girl doesn’t like some yummy candy?
Creating a candy table is simple and affordable. You can use mason jars or vases to put the candy in. Set out different size jars with colored candies inside and you have unique and fun area for your guests to gather besides the food table.
