With so many types of deodorant out there, it’s hard to know which is right for you. Many people try to use natural products whenever possible, but those can be expensive. Other people just have a hard time finding a deodorant that really works for them, whether or not they prefer natural products.
Many people who use natural deodorant, not only feel that it works better than what is available to buy in the store, but some even believe they start sweating less after using for an extended period of time. If you have any issue with excessive sweating, I would suggest you try this out for yourself and see if it makes a difference.
Here is one recipe you can use to make your own Homemade Natural Deodorant:
What you Need:
6 tablespoons coconut oil
1/4 cup baking soda
1/4 cup arrowroot (could also use cornstarch)
essential oils (optional for scent)
What you Do:
1) Combine the baking soda and arrowroot in a medium sized bowl and mix well.
2) Add coconut oil add mash with a fork until everything is mixed together well.
3) If you want to add some scent, you can add your favorite essential oils at this point and mix well.
That’s it. This can be stored in a glass jar or you can even use an old deodorant container. An old deodorant container does make it easier to apply, but is not required.
So whether you are just looking for a natural product, or you have tried everything else and nothing seems to work, you can use this natural deodorant recipe to make your own at home!
