The flavor of these Honey Asian Garlic Chicken Kebabs is INCREDIBLE! I love kebabs because they cook quickly and evenly. They’re also a breeze to reheat the next day. At first, I thought they might taste too sweet with this amount of honey, but let me tell you, the flavor was perfect. The soy sauce and sesame oil contrasted nicely with the honey and garlic. I have a feeling you are going to love this recipe, too!! In fact, my husband said this marinade is his new favorite for grilled chicken!

Instructions for Honey Asian Garlic Chicken Skewers
First, mix all the marinade ingredients together in a small bowl. If you’re using wooden skewers, soak them for 30 minutes in water so they won’t burn while on the grill.
Next, in a separate medium mixing bowl, combine chicken and 3/4 of the marinade. Cover and place in the fridge for 30 minutes up to one day. (Save 1/4 of this marinade to brush on the kebabs while grilling.) Don’t skip this part; your Honey Asian Garlic Chicken Kebabs will have exceptional flavor!!
Preheat grill to 450 or to the ‘high’ setting for approximately 10-15 minutes until hot. While the grill is preheating, place all of the Honey Asian Garlic Chicken Kebabs ingredients onto the skewers in the following order: chicken, purple onion, chicken, red pepper. Repeat on the skewers until you have used all of the chicken. (Discard any marinade left in the chicken bowl.) Of course, you might have selected slightly different vegetables than I did and that is just fine! Place skewers on the grill for 6-10 minutes, depending on your grill. Be sure to turn the skewers 3-4 times throughout grilling so all sides cook evenly.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions and serve immediately over rice, with roasted new potatoes, or with whatever side you prefer! I can’t wait for you to try this recipe! I hope you love it as much as my family does!
What goes with Honey Garlic Chicken?
You could serve over rice, with a side salad, steamed broccoli, a baked potato, or with grilled corn on the cob! Honey Asian Garlic Chicken Kebabs are a well-rounded meal in themselves, too, because they’re chicken and veggies!
