Free Theme Park Passes
Taking preschoolers to theme parks can be fun and exciting, but there are often lots of rides and attractions they aren’t tall enough for. I love that many of the major theme parks are now giving out FREE passes to kids in this age range. Here are the details on where to get free passes for preschoolers:
Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Water Country USA
Williamsburg, VA – Kids ages 3-5 enjoy unlimited visits to both parks with the Preschool Pass. First visit required by May 31; valid through November 1 at Busch Gardens and September 20 at Water Country USA. Available online only!
Carowinds
Charlotte, NC – Free Pre-K Pass for ages 3-5 offers unlimited access to Carowinds, Carolina Harbor Waterpark, Tricks and Treats, and WinterFest. Register online by August 1.
Cedar Point
Sandusky, OH – Pre-K Pass for children ages 3-5. Register online by August 1 and activate at the entrance.
Dollywood
Pigeon Forge, TN – Pre-K Imagination Season Pass for kids born in 2021 or 2022. Register online for a full year of free admission to Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country.
Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom
Allentown, PA – Pre-K Pass for ages 3-5 covers the 2026 season. Register online by August 1 and activate at the gate on your first visit.
California’s Great America
Santa Clara, CA – Free Pre-K Pass for ages 3-5 provides unlimited 2026 visits, including South Bay Shores waterpark. Register by August 1.
Holiday World
Santa Claus, IN – Pre-K Pass eligibility for birthdates July 1, 2020–November 1, 2022; includes Happy Halloween Weekends. Register for 2026 by June 30, 2026.
Kings Dominion
Doswell, VA – Pre-K Pass for ages 3-5 with unlimited 2026 visits. Register by August 1 and activate at the gate on first visit.
SeaWorld San Antonio
San Antonio, TX – Free unlimited admission through 2026 for kids 5 and under, including Rescue Jr., Halloween Spooktacular, SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration, and more. Texas residents only; register online for complimentary Preschool Cards.
Six Flags
Follow these 3 steps: 1. Hold a season pass or membership. 2. Register online for the Pre-K Pass. 3. Activate at the park.
Valleyfair & Soak City
Shakopee, MN – Pre-K Pass for ages 3-5 with unlimited visits. Register online by August 1, 2026, and activate at the park on any operating day.
Wild Adventures
Valdosta, GA – 2026 free Pre-K season pass for ages 3-5 includes unlimited admission plus events like Celebrate America Festival, Great Pumpkin LumiNights, and Christmas Wild & Bright. Register online and activate at the park.
Worlds of Fun + Oceans of Fun
Kansas City, MO – 2026 Pre-K Pass for ages 3-5 with unlimited seasonal visits. Register by August 1 and activate at the gate (no on-site registration).
