The Best Free Photo Storage Options
Gone are the days of dropping your film off at Sam’s Club and coming back in a few days to see your pics. We all take a lot of pictures but you need somewhere to store all of them. I have friends that basically use their Facebook to store them but I like to have a more secure place for mine. There are a lot of places that you can store your photos for free!
1. Amazon Photo Storage
Do you have an Amazon Prime account? Are you taking advantage of the free Photo Storage for Prime Members? You can get 5GB of photo and video storage. It’s pretty easy to get started. Just sign in to your Prime account and connect your device. Click here to get started!
2. Dropbox Photo Storage
I’ve been using Dropbox for years for cloud storage. They let you backup photos from iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac, and your camera. They do have a free plan that gives you 2GB of storage. It will also allow you to share photos, documents, and other files from any device. Dropbox has plans that start at $9.99 a month for 2 TB if you need more storage.
3. iCloud Photo Storage
If you have an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, Apple TV, then all your photos and videos can be stored with iCloud. Whatever changes you make to one device will change on all devices. When you sign up for iCloud, you will automatically get 5GB of free storage. Plans start at 50GB for $0.99 a month. Click here to start using iCloud Photo Storage!
4. Flickr Photo Storage
We use Flickr for all of our photo storage at Passion for Savings! They offer a free photo and video storage plan. The free account allows you to store 1000 photos and videos. If you need more storage, they do offer a Flickr Pro Unlimited storage plan.
5. Microsoft OneDrive
Make sure you have plenty of space on your phone for all your birthdays, vacations, parties, and other memories! With Microsoft OneDrive you have free 5 GB plans that you can store 2,500 photos. Download the OneDrive app and you can share it with friends and family.
6. Google Photos Storage
One of the best services for storage is Google Photos. They offered free unlimited photo storage but that is ending June 1, 2021. You will be able to get 15GB of Google storage for free so that’s one of the best free options available. It’s Google so you know it’s going to be great!
