The artistic approach of Lordi’s designs has an elegant and simple look to them. The reason that the figurines do not have faces is she wants the person looking at them to imagine and envision themselves or others as the figurine. She has said “This ties into the viewer becoming more of a participant in the understanding of the piece. It makes it more personal for the giver and the receiver to envision what or whom they want…It’s the perfect example of ‘less is more’ – what is missing can speak volumes. How to Clean my Willow Tree Figures?
