When I’m getting everything ready for an event, I can use all of the extra time I can get, can’t you? Scroll down for all the tips on how to make these quickly and easily!
How to Make Patriotic Deviled Eggs
This is my absolute favorite deviled egg recipe, transformed into a festive summer side! Here’s what you’ll need:
Ingredients for Patriotic Deviled Eggs
- 12 eggs
- Mayonnaise
- Mustard
- Worcestershire sauce
- Frank’s Red Hot Sauce – This one is totally optional, but it tastes amazing and isn’t too spicy! Of course, you can adjust it to your family’s taste.
- Salt
- Pepper
- Smoked paprika
Instructions for Patriotic Deviled Eggs
Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a 9×13 pan with baking spray. Next, separate the egg whites from the egg yolks into two bowls. Whisk the egg whites until they’re foamy and add to the 9×13 pan. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, or until the egg whites are set. Place a cutting board over the baking dish and flip the pan over so the baked egg white is on the cutting board. Cut out the egg whites with a star shaped cookie cutter and place on a serving platter.
Beat the egg yolks until smooth and scramble the eggs in a non-stick pan on medium-low heat.
In a food processor, blend the cooked yolks, mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, salt and pepper. Pulse until smooth. Transfer to a piping bag. Pipe on yolk mixture and garnish with smoked paprika.
And that’s it! I love easy recipes like this that are super festive, too!
