Red White and Blue Walking Pretzel Salad is an easy and festive dessert idea or the 4th of July or any patriotic holiday, really! Cherries, blueberries, cheesecake, whipped cream combine for a delicious summer treat!
How to Make Red White and Blue Walking Pretzel Salad
I love how easy this salad is to make! You could either make it for everyone or set it up as a little mini buffet where people can make their own!
Ingredients for Patriotic Pretzel Salad
- Individual Bags of Pretzel Goldfish – You could also use regular pretzels, too. But the pretzel goldfish are so fun, especially for kids!
- Cherry Pie Filling
- Blueberry Pie Filling
- Philadelphia No-Bake Cheesecake Filling
- Canned Whip Cream
- Patriotic Sprinkles – Only if you want them. I like how festive the look, though!
Instructions for 4th of July Walking Pretzel Salad
First, squish the outside of the individual bags to gently crush the pretzels. Next, add 1/4 cup of cheesecake filling to the bottom layer of pretzels.
Then, scoop on 2 TBSP of cherry pie filling on the left side of the bag and 2 TBSP of blueberry pie filling on the right side of the bag. Lastly, add a dallop of whipped cream on top in the middle. Doing this in this order showcases the iconic red, white, and blue color palette rather nicely, don’t you think? You can also add crushed pretzels or patriotic sprinkles on top of the whipped cream, if you’d like! But that is, of course, totally optional.
That’s it! I love an easy, festive treat! Would you make these for people or would you let them make their own??
