Easy Baked Pumpkin Donuts
One thing I always say is to learn where to cut out some corners when it comes to baking. I love homemade, but sometimes using a boxed mix, and pairing with other ingredients can give you that homemade taste with less of an effort. These baked pumpkin donuts are really light and moist, and so addictive. Rolled in powdered sugar offers that perfect element of sweet. I have even dipped these donuts in butter and did a cinnamon and sugar dip instead of powdered sugar, and that turned out awesome as well.
Adding in the cinnamon or pumpkin spice seasoning will give you that pumpkin spice donut flavor. Without the seasoning, you will have a more mellow but still tasty pumpkin donut. I am the type that loves pumpkin spice, so I always opt in for the tasty pumpkin spice mix.
Baked Pumpkin Donuts
I love making baked donuts over frying them. I love the cake-like texture they have. We bought a donut pan a few years back and it really changed our lives. It was like we were able to make donuts in a hurry for a breakfast without having to run out to the store. Whip up some homemade icing or top with sprinkles.
