Pumpkin Hot Chocolate Recipe
2 cups whole milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 TBSP brown sugar
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1/8 tsp ginger powder
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Using a double boiler heat the milk.
Add the pumpkin puree, sugar, vanilla, and spices stirring to mix well.
Add chocolate chips while stirring for an additional 8 minutes.
Remove the hot cocoa from the pot pouring into mugs.
Add whipped cream on top and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
