All of us can use a few tricks up our sleeve when times get super busy. Many of these are ones I have personally tried – and they work! Add a few of these hacks to your summer playbook and become even more of a super mom!

Use baby powder to remove sand.
Don’t bring the beach home with you; just rub a bit of baby powder on your skin and the sand comes right off.
A two for one trick! Keep picnic food cold, your drinking water frosty and save space in your chest cooler all at the same time.
Freeze Your Capri Sun drinks overnight, then once they are half thawed cut off the top and eat with a spoon! These are a perfect icy treat for on-the-go families.
If you’re looking for a more natural approach to your sun care this summer, you won’t have to spend an arm and a leg to get it.
Amusement parks and fairs can be crazy places and offer many opportunities to lose your children. Affix the kids with temporary tattoos with your contact info just in case.
You don’t have to be pregnant to enjoy this tip: just add a drop or two to your neck or a in a spray bottle to ward off the heat.
In a pinch and need your morning cup of joe? Don’t worry, all you need is a paper towel!
Make and take lunches in bulk. Save save time (and money at the drive thru).
Summertime can be rough on your skin – all the sun, sand, chlorine, bug spray. Give your skin a little love from your kitchen counter.
An over-the-door shoe organizer is a wonderful trick for keeping water bottles (reusable ones too!) on hand as you run out the door.

Create an injury ice pack with Dawn dish soap
Put a cup of Dawn dish soap in a Ziploc baggie and freeze until it becomes slushie (double bag just in case). The flexibility of this ice pack is the perfect answer for oddly shaped injury spots and small boo-boos.
Add a bit of sugar to scrub away all of the extra sweat and sprays that summer brings with it, leaving you refreshed and glowing.
Don’t water down your iced coffee this summer. Freeze the leftover coffee in ice cube trays to keep your glass of iced coffee cold without diluting the goodness.
Slide a cupcake liner up the popsicle stick, catching sticky drips and saving kids’ hands.
Say bye-bye to bugs out of your sweet drinks this summer with this handy trick.
Moms always have a pack of baby wipes somewhere in their bag. Did you know you can use them on sunburns too?
When your skin needs a little cool down, spritz on a bit of this soothing spray.
Keep a few bread clips (or safety pins or paper clips) in your purse, diaper bag or car. Next time your kids’ footwear busts open, snap it on and just keep going.
Tame the plastic bag madness and stash a collection in your car for on the go emergencies.
