How To Make Watermelon Fans
I share the full directions below in the printable card. You will see how I cut the paper plate, and then worked on creating a layered look of colors onto the plate. Doing red and pink paint really helped to bring out a true watermelon look.
Now for the rind, you will see I did a dark green and light green. It adds depth and dimension to reach for two different colors. Just play around with the colors and create a fun look that you find it pretty.
Then for the seeds I used a marker to draw on little teardrop-shaped seeds. I think it turned out perfect.
Once the paper plates are all dry, you will then glue on your stick and you are ready to fan yourself or family in a fun and colorful way.
