Baking cookies for Christmas is something that I look forward to every year! It doesn’t matter if I’m making them for friends, neighbors, co-workers, or family, it’s one of my most favorite parts about this time of the year!
My kids LOVE helping me in the kitchen! It’s an easy way for us to do something together to celebrate the season! Sometimes we will even bake cookies and take them to our local police and fire fighters to say “thank you”!
White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
2 Cups Butter
1/2 Cup Shortening
2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup Brown Sugar
4 Eggs
4 tsp. Vanilla
5 Cups Flour
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Salt
1 Cup White Chocolate Chips
½ Cup Dried Cranberries
DIRECTIONS:
In a Large Bowl or Stand Mixer combine Butter, Shortening and Sugars until everything is light and fluffy.
Slowly mix in Eggs and Vanilla.
In a separate bowl combine Flour, Baking Soda, Salt and stir gently.
Combine Dry Ingredients with Wet Ingredients slowly and mix well.
Add in White Chocolate Chips and Cranberries.
Roll into 1” Balls and place on a Baking Sheet.
Bake at 350 Degrees for around 10-12 Minutes until slightly brown.
Allow to cool completely on baking sheet before removing.
