You can also make these yogurt lemon bars ahead of time and freeze them for up to 6 months which is especially handy for the holiday food craze. Just add the yogurt and fresh lemon after you’ve thawed them since those won’t freeze well.
- 1 ½ Cups flour
- 1 Cup milk
- ¾ Cup yogurt
- 6 Tbsp butter
- ½ Cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- ½ Cup lemon juice
- ¼ Cup whipping cream
- ½ Cup sliced lemons
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Whisk the butter, eggs, half the yogurt, lemon juice, milk, and whipping cream, until creamy.
- Slowly add flour and sugar.
- Pour batter into a greased pan and place it into the oven.
- Bake for 25 - 35 minutes, set aside to cool.
- Top with yogurt and sliced lemons.
- Serve and enjoy.
