These 5 Ingredient Jello Cookies are SO bright, colorful, and packed with Jell-O flavor! You don’t HAVE to use four different kinds of Jello to make these, but isn’t it fun to have a serving platter full of different brightly-colored cookies? I love that they’re easy to make, as well.
How to Make 5 Ingredient Jello Cookies
This recipe can be mixed pretty quickly, because there are only five ingredients!
Ingredients for Jell-O Cookies
- Snickerdoodle Cookie Mix – You will not be using the cinnamon and sugar packet with this recipe, so feel free to discard it.
- Butter – Melt it before combining with the other ingredients. I used salted butter, but you can use what you have!
- Egg – Size large
- Jello Powder – Choose any flavors you like!
- Sugar
Instructions for 5 Ingredient Jell-O Cookies
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine cookie mix (NOT the cinnamon sugar packet), melted butter, and egg until fully combined.
Separate the cookie dough evenly into four small mixing bowls and add the different flavors of gelatin powder to each bowl. Knead in the gelatin powder so there is four different colors of dough. I used a spoon to keep pressing the powder into the dough and that worked really well.
Place the sugar in a shallow bowl. Scoop the cookies with a small cookie scoop (which is about 2 tablespoons), roll each into a sphere, and roll in the sugar until completely covered.
Place the cookies on the prepared sheet pan and bake for 10-13 minutes or until the bottoms of the cookies just begin to turn slightly golden and the top looks dry.
Let cool on the baking sheet for 3-5 minutes before enjoying.
