How to Make 7 Layer Greek Dip
This recipe is SO easy- you only need a handful of simple ingredients.
Ingredients for 7 Layer Hummus Dip
- Philadelphia Garlic and Herb Spreadable Cream Cheese
- Hummus – You can make your hummus at home, but I really like the Sabra brand, too.
- Cucumber
- Tomato
- Red onion
- Kalamata olives – These are the purple ones at the store. I bought whole ones and cut them in half.
- Crumbled feta cheese
- Sliced green onions
- Pita chips – I like these for dipping, but you could use anything for dipping really. We have tried cucumber slices and carrot sticks and really like those as a healthier option for dipping, too!
Instructions for 7 Layer Greek Dip
First, spread the herb cream cheese on the bottom of the plate, serving tray, or bowl. I used a large plate with lipped edges and I really like how that looks! But, you can use whatever you have, of course. Next, spread on the layer of hummus. I like to leave a little cream cheese along the edges so people can see what all the layers are made of. Lastly, add on all of the layers of veggies and feta!
The green onions are optional, as they are layer number eight, so you don’t have to add them, but I think they add a nice flavor.
That’s it! Like I said, I use pita chips for dipping, but you can really use any kind of cracker or veggie. The flavor of this dip is incredible! Let us know if you try it. It’s so perfect for summer!

- 1 7.5 oz container Philadelphia Garlic and Herb Spreadable Cream Cheese
- 1 cup prepared hummus
- ¾ cup chopped cucumber
- 1/2 cup chopped red onion
- ¾ cup chopped tomato
- ½ cup chopped pitted Kalamata olives
- ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
- ¼ cup sliced green onions (optional)
- Pita chips, for dipping
Instructions
- Spread the herb cream cheese on the bottom of the plate, serving tray, or bowl.
