We love the savings that happen during Prime Day! When Amazon made the decision to postpone it this year that was hard for a lot of sellers. Most of them already had inventory that was intended for Prime Day. That is the purpose behind the Summer Sale that is scheduled to begin on June 22.
According to CNBC, Amazon sent a notice to select sellers letting them know about the sale. “We are having the Biggest Summer Sale event to drive excitement and jump-start sales,” the notice states. “To drive customer engagement, we are asking for your participation.” They have asked sellers to discount items by at least 30% for the sale!
This sale will help those sellers that have inventory ready for Prime Day but also extra inventory that has is sitting due to the shutdown. Amazon said this sale will include deals from “both established and smaller fashion brands.”
