Ingredients
- Ingredients:
- 1 cup + 2 TBSP All-Purpose Baking Flour
- ¼ Cup Packed Brown Sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ cup milk
- 2 ½ tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup Christmas sprinkles
- Frosting:
- 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup holiday sprinkles for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease the donut tin and set aside. In a
large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients. - In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, butter, and egg. Gently
fold the wet mixture into the dry mixture until just combined. - Be sure to not over-mix! Gently fold in holiday sprinkles. Fill the
donut pan with the batter and bake for about 10-11 minutes, until the
donuts spring back when gently pressed. Allow to cool completely
before removing from pan. - For the glaze: Whisk together heavy cream and powdered sugar in a
medium-sized bowl until smooth. (If the frosting seems too thick, you
can add a bit more cream. If it seems too thin, you can add a bit
more powdered sugar.) Then mix in the vanilla and salt. Frost once
the donuts have completely cooled and sprinkle holiday sprinkles on
top.
