These Circus Animal Cookie Truffles are really made with the iconic animal cookies we all know and love! My kids love Circus Animal Cookies as a treat sometimes, so naturally they were SO excited when I made these truffles! The pink and white colors are perfect for Valentine’s Day, so you could add valentine sprinkles to make them extra festive. Or, you could stick with the traditional color sprinkles to make them really look like the animal cookies!
How to Make Circus Animal Cookie Truffles
You only need a few ingredients for this recipe, which I love!
Ingredients for Circus Animal Cookie Truffles
- Mother’s Circus Animal Cookie Truffles
- Cream Cheese
- Pink and White Candy Melts
- Sprinkles, of course!
First, add animal cracker cookies to food processor and crush until finely ground.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine cookie crumbs and cream cheese. Mix (with a mixer or a spoon) until thoroughly combined.
Next, roll the cookie mixture in about 1-inch size spheres and freeze for 10 minutes or until they are firm. Just before removing from the freezer, begin melting the candy melts exactly according to the package directions so they don’t overheat and burn.
Carefully dip the truffles in the pink and white melted candy melts and immediately sprinkle with sprinkles before the coating hardens.
What kind of Animal Cookies to Use in this Truffle Recipe?
For this recipe, it’s very important to purchase the Mother’s brand pink and white frosted animal cookies. The other ones just don’t have the same results!
Aren’t they fun? Let me know when you make them!
