How to Make Deep Dish Pizza Cupcakes
These are SO easy to make! My kids love making them by themselves, too. (With supervision, of course!)
Pizza Cups Ingredients
- Refrigerated crescent dough sheet – If you don’t have that, you can use crescent rolls and just pinch the seams together.
- Pizza sauce
- Shredded mozzarella cheese – I like the creamy melt kind!
- Garlic powder
- Italian Seasoning
- Pizza toppings – I used pepperoni, black olives, and green peppers, but you can use mushrooms, pineapple, ham, or anything you like best.
Pizza Cupcakes with Crescent Rolls
First, preheat your oven to 375ºF. Spray 8 regular muffin cups very well with cooking spray. (This recipe makes eight pizza cups, so double everything if you need to!) Cut the dough into 8 even squares. Press into muffin tin cups so they cover the space evenly, not overlapping the top edges.
Sprinkle about tablespoons of shredded cheese in the bottom of each muffin cup. You can just eyeball it- it doesn’t have to be exact! Top with 1 Tbsp of pizza sauce. Sprinkle on garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Add remaining cheese and top with pizza toppings.
Bake 12-15 minutes, or until the edges of crescent roll dough turn golden. With a butter knife, loosen the pizza cupcakes from the edges of the pan. Let cool for 5 minutes and remove from pan. Serve immediately. These may be frozen in a sealed container for up to a month. Reheat in the oven at 300 degrees for 18 minutes or until they’re warmed through.
That’s it! Do you think your fam would like these? The flavor is fantastic and it’s an entree that everyone is sure to love, indeed!
