Patriotic Popcorn Pops are an easy and festive treat idea for the 4th of July or anytime for that matter! I like that they don’t make my kids’ hands sticky because they can hold onto the handle to eat it! Ha! I have a couple tips below to make this recipe super easy for you to create!
How to Make Patriotic Popcorn Pops
You only need a few ingredients to make this red, white and blue 4th of July snack!
Ingredients and Supplies for 4th of July Popcorn Pops
- Mini marshmallows
- Butter
- Popped popcorn – You can use either popcorn popped at home or store-bought popcorn like Skinny Pop.
- Sprinkles
- Popsicle sticks
Instructions for Patriotic Popcorn Pops
Melt butter in an extra large size microwave safe mixing bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds, or until melted.
Add marshmallows and mix well with the butter. Microwave in 30 second intervals until soft enough to stir. Stir well and let set for 5 minutes or until very slightly hardened.
Coat hands with butter and form the popcorn into spheres. Sprinkle on patriotic sprinkles if desired and press into the popcorn balls. Let set for 30 minutes or until hardened.
After that, insert a popsicle stick and tie on a ribbon, if desired!

Packed with marshmallows and popcorn, these Patriotic Popcorn Pops are an easy recipe for the 4th of July!
Ingredients
- 1 10 oz. bag of mini marshmallows
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 16 cups popped popcorn, (You can use homemade or store bought.)
- Sprinkles
- popsicle sticks
Instructions
