Delicious Easter Egg Fruit Pizza
This Easter egg fruit pizza is versatile, so you can add your favorite fruits on top. I went for fun colors I thought would match well. But you are welcome to buy what your store has for sale, or what fruits you prefer.
Can I Used Box Cookie Dough
Yes! If you want to cut a corner and skip the homemade cookie dough, go for it. I love homemade sugar cookies, so I thought it would be fun to add a homemade cookie base. But you can use a box mix, dough in the refrigerator section, or whatever you like.
Tips For Making Homemade Frosting
Make sure when you go to make your frosting that your cream cheese and butter are both room temperature. If you want that thick and creamy frosting, you need it to be room temperature. Cream cheese is naturally stiffer, so if you go to mix cold cream cheese it will be lumpy and hard to mix. Same goes for butter.
How to Store Fruit Pizza
It is best to keep your fruit pizza in the fridge if you are not going to eat it right away. This will help keep the fruit fresh and preserve it. When you are ready to eat, remove from fridge and slice and serve.
How Long Will Fruit Pizza Last In Fridge
You can expect your fruit pizza to last up to three days in the fridge. As the fruit pizza sits it will begin to break down a bit. The fruit will begin to juice, and it can leave your pizza a little runny on top. So it is best to eat this pizza within 1-2 days of making it.
