Easy Crockpot Taco Soup Recipe! This 7 Can Slow Cooker Dump Soup is an easy Weekly Dinner Plan idea or freezer meal for kids or a crowd everyone will LOVE!
Everyone needs a “Go-To” recipe for a Busy Day, a Big Crowd or maybe just those days when you don’t want to cook. This Easy Crockpot Taco Soup Recipe is mine, it’s simple to put together, Perfect for a Large Group and great as leftovers :).
I almost always have the ingredients in my pantry ready to go, so on a Busy day I can dump everything in the Crockpot and go! I call this a “Dump & Run” Recipe meaning, you just throw everything together in less than 5 minutes and your out the door, when you come home Dinner is Ready on the Table.
Here are the ingredients you will need. I also add Cooked Ground Beef to mine, I’m not sure why it’s not pictured, it was still in the Freezer :) I always Pre-Cook my Ground Beef when I get it home from the store then I have it in the Freezer Ready to go so that recipes like this are really as simple as they look!
Taco Soup Ingredients:
3 Cans of Beans (I mix Red Beans & Black Beans)
2 Cans of Diced Tomatoes
1 Can of Whole Kernel Corn
1 Can of Rotel (Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies)
1 Package of Taco Seasoning
1 Package of Ranch Dressing
1 32 oz. Container of Chicken Broth
2 Cups Cooked Ground Beef
To make this recipe all you do is combine all the Ingredients in the Crockpot and cook on high for 4 hours, you can also cook on low for 8 hours if your going to be gone all day. I top with Cheese and serve with Chips normally, but it’s also a great Taco Salad Topping, so sometimes we mix it up and serve over lettuce with Guacamole and Salsa with Chips! I normally drain it or use a Slotted Spoon when I do that, It’s a great way to twist it up especially if you have leftovers.
Optional: I add Cooked Rice to mine sometimes, and if I do that, I just add it at the very end so it doesn’t get soggy. You don’t have to add the rice unless you think you’d like it. It’s totally up you you!
