I top with cheese and serve with Chips normally, but it’s also a great Taco Salad Topping, so sometimes we mix it up and serve over lettuce with Guacamole and Salsa with Chips!
I normally drain it or use a Slotted Spoon when I do that, It’s a great way to twist it up especially if you have leftovers.
Pro Tip: I add Cooked Rice to mine sometimes, and if I do that, I just add it at the very end so it doesn’t get soggy. You don’t have to add the rice unless you think you’d like it. It’s totally up to you!

I turned this into chilli after a first pass with the recipe as soup. I just drained the cand of beans and halved the stock. Turned out great in both cases!
Do you also put rice in it? That looks really good, but I’ve never tried it that way. I’m curious when you would add that.

Should we drain the cans first? Everything won’t fit otherwise?! Hopefully it tastes okay since I didn’t drain the cans and all of the chicken broth wouldn’t fit. I have a large Crock Pot too.
