Homemade Cuticle Cream Recipe using Essential Oils
This homemade cuticle cream recipe is perfect anytime, but I like to apply it just before bedtime so it can work it’s magic overnight. Winter is one of those times where I am always searching for products that work well. I have noticed over time that the things I make at home tend to be free of additional chemicals and work better than what I can buy in the store. This Simple DIY Cuticle Cream Recipe is perfect for keeping your hands soft and smooth during the winter months.
My hands are the most abused part on my body! I’m constantly washing my hands, helping my kids wash their hands, doing dishes, using my nails to open boxes and pick off stickers and my cuticles really take a beating. Not to mention the dry winter months! They always cause my cuticles to become cracked and dry.
This simple cuticle cream contains Shea Butter, Beeswax, Olive Oil and Essential Oils to help you get your hands in the best shape of the year!
To get started all you need to do is melt the Shea Butter, Beeswax and Olive Oil in a microwave safe bowl, then microwave in 30 second increments until melted. Stirring after every 30 seconds.
Allow to cool slightly and add your favorite essential oils! Then while it’s still liquid pour into a small container and allow to cool completely before using!

- 1 teaspoon shea butter
- 1 teaspoon beeswax
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 10 drops essential oil
Directions –
- Add shea butter, beeswax and olive oil to a microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 30 second increments, until melted. Stir after each 30 seconds in the microwave.
- Stir in essential oils.
- Pour into a small container. Let cool completely before using.
To Use
- Massage into cuticles and nails as needed.
