One of my favorite things about Summer is Corn on the Cob and all the amazing Summer Vegetables that are really inexpensive! I’ve got a simple trick to teach you how to cook Corn on the Cob in the Microwave in just minutes. Plus, when you use this method you actually don’t even have to shuck the corn first, the silk comes of easily after you take it out of the microwave.
Here’s what you need:
2 Ears of Corn on the Cob
1 Wet Paper Towel
Microwave Safe Plate
Sharp Knife
Directions:
Important: Do Not Shuck the corn, You want to leave all of the husk on the corn
Place 2 ears of corn on a microwave safe plate
Wrap the corn in a Wet Paper Towel
Place the Plate and Corn in the Microwave
Microwave on High 8 minutes for 2 ears of corn
Remove the corn and Cut off one end at the LARGEST Part of the Corn
Grab the smaller end of the corn and hold the husk and silk while you gently press out the corn
Add Butter and Salt and serve warm
This is really simple and my entire family loves corn on the cob! This is a simple way to cook Corn without having to make a big mess + I love that you don’t have to remove the silk before you cook it.
