Last week I opened up my Canister of Wet Ones that I keep under the sink and realized it was empty, I immediately thought, these cannot be very hard to make so I set out to try several versions of Homemade Wet Ones and I wanted to share the simple and easy version that seems to work the best for our family.
Start with an Empty Wet Ones Container and about 20 Paper Towels Rolled Up. Cut the Paper Towels in Half so they will fit inside the Wet Ones Container.
Take the 2 halves and roll one around the other so you have one roll of Paper Towels. Place the Paper Towels in the Container and add about 1/8 Cup of Liquid Hand Soap. I like to use the Ivory Hand Soap because it’s gentle on my kids skin.
Fill the Container half way with Water and Shake, this helps the soap coat all of the Paper Towels. Once all Paper Towels are completely wet and have soap on them, you can Pour out some of the water, I like to leave a little in the bottom to help keep the towels moist.
Each Towel should be covered with a slight amount of soap and moist. These are great for cleaning up kids after a messy dinner!
