S’mores Pudding Recipe. Do I really need to say anything else? Seriously friends, this is what end of Summer and early fall should taste like, like warm melted chocolate and gooey roasted marshmallows all served into a big bowl of creamy chocolate pudding.
Actually, just make a double batch because you are going to run out of this treat faster than you thought was possible, this is how good this is.
But seriously tho, this is good my friends, and fast and quick and perfect for those days when you told your friends you were bringing dessert and totally forgot to make it. It’s also great when you are hosting big parties and want something easy and a crowd favorite to serve. And it’s great when you want a weeknight dessert to go with dinner.
For me, the reason why this is so delicious is because it’s packed with marshmallows and packed with chocolate chips and packed with a ton of creamy chocolate marshmallow pudding.
Because yes, this is a marshmallow pudding made with cream and milk and real chocolate and a couple of egg yolks and a secret ingredient (aka: marshmallow fluff). So, instead of using sugar like most puddings and pots de creme, we go with a different and more delicious route and add some marshmallow fluff to our mix.
The result? Out of this world good! Because it’s like eating s’mores with a spoon (which is the best thing I can possibly think of). And then to take things to the next level, we add some extra jumbo marshmallows, a couple of chocolate chips and take to the oven on broil for a couple of minutes until it becomes a giant roasted pot of deliciousness.
If you want to add a little extra “S’moreness” you can also add a couple of graham crackers on top.
