I’m going to be completely honest with you, I’m obsessed with 1 pan dinners, like seriously if I could just make 1 pan dinners every night, I would pretty much make them non-stop and without regrets. So when I’m meal planning for the week I always try to include two 1 pan dinners.
Lately, this 1 pan turkey dinner has been making an appearance on our meal plan and everyone has loved and raved about it so much that I knew it was time to share it with you.
The recipe is really simple and is also as quick and easy as it gets. There are no complicated steps, there are not a lot of dishes to wash later (hey all it’s made in only 1 pan after all!) and there are no crazy ingredients. Actually, this is one of those meals that’s great to make when you have a lot of food laying around and about to go bad.
I like to add a ton of veggies to this 1 pan turkey dinner because it’s a great way to stretch the meat. However and since we are cooking everything into only 1 pan we get all the flavors of the meat coating everything so even if your little ones are not fans of veggies or they are picky eaters worry not because this doesn’t taste like a veggie fest (while it actually is!).
Another one of the things that works great for me to get them to eat veggies is to cut them into funny shapes. Trust me when I say it works wonders!
Just mix everything together, add a couple of spoonfuls of stock a good number of spices and take to the oven until done.
