You can honestly use any green and red-colored vegetables and fruit to create a custom snack board. I have loved making these and the kids love helping to create a snack that looks like a Christmas tree as well.
How to Make
First you will start by taking a piece of cheese and cutting it into a star shape for the top of the tree.
Then at the bottom do a bed of popcorn with pretzel sticks for the tree root. Then with some green veggies or fruit create a layer as the base of the tree.
The idea is to slowly build layers that start large at bottom of going smaller to mimic the triangular shape of a tree.
Just create rows that are shrinking in size. As you can see here I used a ton of veggies, fruits and snacks. It really is fun and just start and work your way down the tree after you get the bottom started, that way you know how long the bottom layer is going to be.
Once you are done add some sliced cheese on sides and little crackers! Or you can add other snack items if you want. The beauty of this tray is to make it fit exactly what you and your family enjoy eating. Then nibble away and enjoy.
