The Best Easter Egg Cosmic Brownies
I make a homemade brownie mix for this recipe, I find it gives you a more “fudgy-based” style brownie. Then create a really simple chocolate ganache style frosting that is the classic layer on a store bought cosmic brownie. Add on your favorite sprinkles and slice and serve!
Best Way To Store Easter Egg Cosmic Brownies
You can place your cosmic brownies in an airtight container and store them on the counter at room temperature if you would like. Or you can toss them in the fridge if you like the texture of cold brownies. They will last on the counter for around 4-5 days. At that time they will begin to dry out.
Can You Freezer Homemade Cosmic Brownies
You can freeze homemade cosmic brownies. Just place them in a freezer bag or place in a freezer friendly container. Toss in the freezer for up to two months. When you are ready to eat them just take them out and thaw, and then serve. I do this a lot for quick snacks to toss in the kid’s lunches, or after school snacks.
Just make sure to pre-slice your brownies so you can grab one or two and eat it on the go.
