How to Make Halloween Hot Chocolate Bombs
Start by melting your orange chocolate and applying it to the mold. Thin layers is key and you will do a couple layers to ensure the chocolate is thick enough to hold up.
Once it is set up nicely, you will carefully remove. Make sure to go slow, as you can easily break the chocolate. If you do break one, you can melt it down and re-do it if you would like.
Next, fill half with your cocoa mix, mini marshmallows, etc.
Now you will stick the two together as directed in the recipe card. Then decorate how you would like. Drizzle on different colored chocolate, add sprinkles, etc. Have fun with it.
Tips For Making Hot Chocolate Bombs
- Thin layers of chocolate are key. If you do too thick it won’t melt down with the milk.
- Any color of candy melts work. Have fun and do different colors.
- You can use chocolate chips and temper, or add in a tablespoon coconut oil to help it harden up properly.
- Seal the edges with melted chocolate, and then use a towel to wipe away excess chocolate.
- Fill with any flavor or brand of cocoa you would like.
