How to Make Hidden Kiss Valentine Cookies
The cookie recipe is super simple and I love that it doesn’t require getting my mixer out!
Ingredients for Hidden Kiss Cookies for Valentine’s Day
- Eggs
- Vegetable oil
- Sugar
- Almond extract
- Vanilla extract
- Flour
- Baking powder
- Pink Himalayan Salt
- Hershey’s Kisses
- Chocolate Chips – Or you could use candy melts!
- Sprinkles – These are optional, of course, but I think they look festive!
Instructions for Hidden Kiss Valentine Cookies
Whisk together eggs, sugar, oil, and extracts in a medium sized mixing bowl. Stir in flour, salt, and baking powder.
Roll dough into spheres the size of a tablespoon and place an unwrapped Hershey’s Kiss inside. Form the dough around the Kiss in a sphere and try to get it as smooth as you can.
Freeze for 20 minutes. This step is very important! Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place dough on cookie sheets lined with parchment paper.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 8 minutes, or until the tops look dry. Cool completely on cooling rack. Drizzle with frosting, white chocolate, or candy melts, if desired. And, you can add sprinkles if you like, too! Sooo adorable when you bite into them. Be sure to let them cool well before eating so the kiss keeps its shape! Have a happy Valentine’s Day!
