How To Store Leftover Potatoes
If you have leftover baked potatoes, wrap them up in aluminum foil and store in the fridge. They will last 2-3 days. Then you can easily reheat or use for other recipes like hash or potato pancakes as leftovers.
How To Reheat Leftover Baked Potatoes
I turn the oven on and then allow it to heat up, and then place my leftover potatoes on a baking sheet and then toss them right into the oven. This will help allow them to heat through and crisp up a bit on the outside. If your potatoes are already over-crispy on the outside, wrap them in aluminum first.
What Main Dishes Would Pair Well with Instant Pot Baked Potatoes

In her printable directions, it was accidentally omitted.
This recipe does not work. They were still hard in the middle. Probably need to be pressure cooked for another 5 min.
I’m really happy with this recipe. I followed the directions, which specified using 1 cup of water!! I’m not sure why others didnt find that in their directions. This will be on a regular repeat.
Not completely cooked. Maybe my potatoes were bigger? They were average size russets. Even allowed extra release time as I was out walking dog. Adding extra 7 min.
This person must not have an instant pot. They have 2 pressure settings Low and High. Too many people on the Internet don’t state the pressure settings when they post a recipe so I call BS on them actually using one. Please remove or fix your recipes.
I tried this recipe using for potatoes. They weren’t even close to being cooked after 12 mins… Had to nuke then for another 5 mins
If you aren’t going to put these under the Broiler you would want to cook them for 15-16 minutes, Also use High Pressure.
Your print recipe version has left off 1 cup water , which makes a huge difference with the instant pot. No water, no steam. Otherwise great shortcut recipe, use it all the time
Nowhere in these instructions does it tell you to add water. Hopefully someone who has never used their instant pot before doesn’t see this and try to follow it.
Do you not put water in the pot?
Doesn’t work without water?
Do you need to put water on the bottom of the instant pot? That’s usually the cast but it’s not written in this recipe.
I’m pretty sure you meant to add water right? I tried your exact instructions and nothing happened to my potato in the Instant Pot. I added 1 cup of water to your instructions and they turned out perfect!
I don’t see where you put water in the pot. Don’t you have to put at least 1 cup of liquid in?
Yes I think she skipped that step in the instructions. As I was preping, I questioned it, but she didn’t call for it, so I didn’t add any (I’m relatively new to the instant pot). But my pot said BURN and shut off. So I put in water and started it again with success.
