As a busy mom, it’s important to me that I find recipes that are simple, easy, and kid-friendly! I like to find recipes that my family enjoys but that doesn’t put me in the kitchen for hours on end. Instant Pot Lasagna
INGREDIENTS:
- 16 Ounces Lasagna Noodles
- 1 lb. Fresh Ground Meat
- 6 Ounces Canned Black Olives (shred olives)
- 1 Small Onion (finely chopped)
- 8 Ounces Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 15 Ounces Whole Milk Ricotta
- 24 Ounces Tomato Marinara
- 14.5 Ounces Italian Style Chunked Tomatoes
- ½ Teaspoon Oregano
- ½ Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ½ Teaspoon Salt
- 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- Cooking Spray
DIRECTIONS:
- Press sauté function.
- Brown ground meat, olive oil, black olives, oregano, garlic powder, salt and onions on high for 8-10 minutes.
- Add tomatoes to meat.
- Simmer for 1 minute.
- Set meat mixture aside.
- Wash out pot and dry.
- Coat bottom of pot and sides with cooking spray.
- Place a layer of lasagna noodles on bottom of pot.
- Add about half of meat mixture.
- Add 7.5 ounces of Ricotta
- Add 12 ounces of marina.
- Repeat steps.
- Allow to cook on sauté for 12 minutes.
- Add 7 Ounce of mozzarella.
- Then place lid on pot.
- Leave on sauté function
- Allow to cook for 15 minutes.
- Top with 1 Ounce mozzarella and a pinch of oregano.
