Busy Weeknight Instant Pot Spaghetti Recipe
We live in a world that is always on the go. I know for me, I love cooking meals for my family but sometimes I just don’t have the time. For that, I reach for my Instant Pot. We have a 6 quart and it fits my family nicely. I also really like the benefits of the 8 quart Instant Pot. I have even been introduced to spaghetti noodles that fit perfectly in the pot without needing to break them apart!
Must Know Tips for Making Instant Pot Spaghetti
- Scrape Away | Always make sure to scrape the bottom of your pot after you brown your hamburger. The reason being is you want to try and prevent the burn notice. You can even add a little water to scrape the bottom even better to remove any stuck on bits of meat.
- Cover Pasta | Make sure your pasta is fully covered and laid out evenly. If you don’t you will have pasta that might not get cooked fully or it will stick together if not spread evenly.
- No Stirring | Once you put your pasta in the pot and cover with pasta sauce to cook, do not stir. If you do you are going to make a mess with the end result and get a more gummy texture.
How Long Do You Cook Spaghetti in The Pressure Cooker
For my recipe, I find that 10 minutes on manual works wonderful. You get that tender pasta that you know and love. Now if you are to use a different pasta besides spaghetti noodles, you will have to adjust the cook time.
