I love an easy dessert, and these Strawberry Cheesecake Cones are SO delish for summertime! You could of course make them with any fruit, but I think cheesecake and strawberries go together like peanut butter and jelly! Ha! Some people might call this walking cheesecake, but whatever you call it, it’s delightful!
How to Make Fruity Cheesecake Cones
You only need a few ingredients for this, depending on whether or not you whip up the no-bake vanilla cheesecake from scratch. Philadelphia makes a great premade cheesecake filling that makes this dessert idea super easy!
Ingredients for Strawberry Cheesecake Cones
- Strawberries – I suppose you could use frozen strawberries, but fresh ones are infinitely better in this recipe!
- Cheesecake filling – You could use homemade or store-bought.
- Ice cream cones – Some cones available are SO massive, it’s hard for me to think of it filled with cheesecake! Ha! I chose small cones and they really are the perfect size to hold cheesecake filling and strawberries.
Instructions for Walking Cheesecake Cones
First, either spoon or pipe a layer of cheesecake in the bottom of each cone.
Next, add a layer of cut up fruit. I used strawberries, but you can use blueberries or whatever your favorite fruit is! Raspberries would work really well, too, I think. Lastly, add a layer of cheesecake on top and top with a piece of fruit or sprinkles, if desired! That’s it!
I can’t wait for you to try this recipe! Change out the fruit or add a few options for people to choose themselves! Either way, it’ll be delish and perfect for all ages.
