Can You Cook Roast In A Pressure Cooker
This is my preferred way to cook a roast! You simply grab your veggies, roast, and some seasonings and broth, and get to it! When the timer goes off and you release the pressure you have a fork-tender roast ready to serve family or your guests.
How Long Should You Cook a Pot Roast in a Pressure Cooker
For me personally, I love to go 50 minutes, it really helps break down and tenderize the meat to make it extra tender. But you can go anywhere from 35 minutes and up. Now, if you are using a frozen roast, aim for 75-80 minutes.
What Roast Is Best For Pot Roast
Depending on where you live, you will find different cuts will be available in your area. A chuck roast is a nice marbled roast that will cook up nicely. Shoulder or even a Brisket roast can work. If you are unsure ask the butcher at the store and they can direct you to the right roast.
