How to Make Moon Pie Brownie Bars
It’s SO easy to make these double-layered chocolatey bars. All you need is a few ingredients!
Ingredients for Moon Pie Brownie Bars
- Mini Moon Pies (You may use regular-sized Moon Pies, if you’d like. They taste the same!)
- Chocolate brownie mix – Use a box that will work for 9×13 size pans!
- Water
- Egg
- Vegetable oil
Instructions for Moon Pie Brownie Bars
First, preheat the oven according to the manufacturer’s instructions on the brownie mix. Spray the bottom and sides of a 9×13 pan with baking spray. Cut each Moon Pie in fourths and layer them in the bottom of the pan.
Combine the brownie mix, water, egg, and vegetable oil in a medium mixing bowl and stir with a whisk until combined. Pour the brownie batter over the Moon Pies. (You might need to spoon it on, depending on how thick it is.) Bake for 20-25 mins, or until the middle of the brownies look dry and cooked through. Let cool for an hour before cutting and serving.
