What Dressing Is Used for Avocado Pasta Salad
I used Olive Garden Italian Dressing for this recipe. It is a creamy dressing that is one of our favorites. If you want you can totally make your own Italian Dressing to pour into the salad.
What Type of Pasta Is Best For Avocado Pasta Salad
We used bow tie pasta cause it was what I had on hand. You can use any smaller style pasta like elbow or even a fun shaped pasta to lure in kids. Feel free to buy what’s on sale or use whatever is stashed in your pantry.
How to Store Leftover Avocado Salad
Store any leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container. This recipe will keep for around 2-3 days. If you used pretty ripe avocados it could lessen the time of quality. The avocado will be the first to go bad in a salad.
Do I Need To Chill Pasta Salad Before Serving
This is optional for this recipe. You can chill in the fridge for two hours before serving. Or if you don’t have time go ahead and dish it up. As the avocado pasta dish sits it will blend flavors.
How to Freshen an Avocado Faster
Simply place an underripe avocado in a paper bag with a banana. The banana will release a gas that helps the avocado to ripen faster. When your avocado reaches the ripeness you want to throw the banana away.
Can I Adjust Vegetables Used in Recipe
Yes. Say you don’t like onions, then feel free to skip them in the recipe. Or find other veggies you and your family enjoy and dice and toss them in. Feel free to play around with ingredients to fit your need.
