Can I Make Homemade Brownies For This Recipe
Yes! You are more than welcome to skip using a boxed brownie mix and make a homemade brownie batter. I just really wanted to simplify this recipe and make it so easy to whip up.
But if you want, buy any of your favorite brownie mix and use.
The same goes for the cookie dough portion. You can use a sugar cookie batter or chocolate chip cookie. I would even venture out and try a peanut butter cookie batter as well.
How To Know When Brookie Cupcakes Are Done
You will know when your cupcakes are done by sticking a toothpick in. Then if the toothpick comes out clean, your brookies are done. Just make sure to not stick it into the peanut butter cup portion or it will be a melted chocolate mixture on the toothpick.
