How To Store Pecan Cheesecake Bars
Because of the cheesecake layer in these bars, they will need to be stored in the fridge. You can store these bars for 3-5 days in the fridge. Make sure the container is airtight.

Can I Use A Homemade Sugar Cookie As Base
Absolutely! If you prefer homemade sugar cookies, use that dough as the base vs store-bought. I enjoy cutting corners where I can so that it saves me time. The dough is a quick short cut, but feel free to make homemade. With any leftovers, you could make cookies with the leftovers.
Can I Freeze Pecan Pie Bars
Yes, you can freeze these pecan pie bars. Allow them to fully cool and then transfer into an airtight container or even freezer bag. Then store these bars in the freezer for up to three months. When ready to enjoy thaw on the counter for a quick thaw or place in the fridge and allow them to thaw overnight.
I love having these on hand to thaw and serve unexpected guests, especially during the holiday season. It is a fun dessert.
